To update you, this year's show was great. The hosts were fantastic, the production values high, script-writing (by Evan) quality, and the format worked well (although I prefer showing none of the nominees' pieces and the full winner's piece, as opposed to showing a bit of all nominees' work and also a bit of the winners').

Congrats to Evan who won the short feature category with "ADD TV" and to Annie and Sasha (and me) who received nominations.

I must say though, how unfortunate it is that more BECA graduate students didn't attend Becafest. Many members of our community attend almost nothing outside of classes. We are supposed to be the cream of the crop and I think we need to better represent ourselves at events like Becafest.
