Congratulations to all those who just completed their exams

I've been bumping into a lot of joyous BECA grad students recently! They've just handed in their exams, having weathered many nights of little to no sleep. The other day for instance, I bumped into Travis who was looking only partly conscious after handing in his exam. Being the hardcore guy he is, he still staggered over for a celebratory drink at the campus bar.

So, to you all who have just handed in dozens of exam pages, congratulations! You've just overcome the final big hurdle between you and graduation. I know that you all still have to defend your work in front of your committees but as the failure rather from defenses is so low, I would worry too much.

CONGRATULATIONS on passing that hurdle, everyone!! It was a rough 5 weeks for me, and it feels great to be done... that's probably the general feeling among us. I don't know about you, but I'm ready to have some fun again. Who's up for a BECA grad social event? I'm thinking maybe a barbecue? If you have any other ideas for an event location/date/theme, let me know. You all know how much I love to plan parties :) Again, congratulations! We did it!
