ABOUT LIVE WIRE MEDIA
Live Wire Media is a video/television production and distribution company specializing in programs about life skills and character
education that are sold to schools, libraries, community organizations on DVD. You can fnd more information about us and our

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The emphasis of this internship is on the business side of video distribution.
Our ideal candidate is someone with an interest in marketing, the educational feld and web design.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Must be comfortable with HTML – Dreamweaver experience a plus.
Good research skills and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Web Design:
You will be working with our marketing director to implement a redesign of our website. Tasks will include creating product pages
from a template, filling in details such as meta tags, and checking for bugs.
Market Research:
We are looking to sell our products in a new market. You would be researching how we can break into this market and help prepare an
action plan to do so. Depending on time and interest, you may start implementing the plan you help create.
Sales:
Researching and evaluating potential new video series for distribution; and seeking out new distributors for our products.
Clerical:
Assists in tasks around the office as needed.
BENEFITS TO WORKING WITH US
We’re a small company so you’ll have a chance to work on a variety of projects and can make a real impact. You will work directly
with the head of marketing and the two presidents of the company. There is plenty of opportunity for a motivated and talented
individual to shape the direction/scope of the work.
HOURS AND PAY
20-40 hours a week, depending on candidate’s skills, and Live Wire’s work schedule.
This is a paid position — $10/hour.
We would prefer that the intern works for school credit, but we will not pass on a superior student who is not working for credit.
