BECA Grad TV

BECA Graduate students unite! We are producing a TV show made by BECA Graduate students. It's an exciting project that has got students and faculty alike excited. However, we need you on board to make this happen.

The TV show will be a unique behind-the-scenes look at the media. How did Guest A produce a documentary on a boat in stormy seas? How does the media influence our self-image? How did Guest B find themselves anchoring ABC's local news show? All these kinds of questions and more will be tackled on the show. With simple yet professional aesthetics - round table, black background, 3 guests, and 1 host (think Charlie Rose) - the show will focus on lively and informed conversation. We hope to make 3, maybe 4, shows this semester. Our audience will be online and public access. It's an exciting project.

Why should you join the team? Firstly, it's your chance to sharpen your production skills and be part of a disciplined yet fun team. If you want to research, operate the camera, pre-interview, do lighting or sound, and more - this is the place to be. You'll walk away knowing your fellow students better and, most importantly, you'll have a finished project to put into your demo reel and on your resume. The more the show gains renown in the future, the more the prestige of your involvement will increase.
