BECA - ON A DIME Production - CREW CALL
BECA people, I need your genius and big, strong, sexy muscles on Friday, Feb. 13th at 10AM in Studio 1. We're doing a lighting and set design and walk-through of our first episode of ON A DIME: an non-traditional lifestyle program for broke hos. If I haven't already talked your ear off about this personally here's the gist:
ON A DIME is an informational, talk format television show that provides unconventional time- and money-saving lifestyle tips with a large dose of humor and self-deprecation. Through household and product demonstrations, specialized studio and field segments and interviews with community experts, ON A DIME will both embody and promote a genuinely viable lifestyle for young Bay Area men and women according to a DIY, frugal, creative, “yes-to-mess” (and occasionally hedonistic) value set.
It's half-hour format (TRT: 28:30) but will be composed of very brief, mostly studio and some field segments.
ON A DIME is going to be an absolute blast, for real, and we need your talent. In particular we are looking for:
Lighting Geniuses
Audio Guys and Gals
Camera Operators
Field Production Assistants for those who can't make Fridays production days
Hangers-on who show up for the donuts and crack jokes
YES, COFFEE AND DONUTS WILL BE PROVIDED BY A SYNERGISTIC COMBINATION OF MYSELF AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Yes, come for the coffee and donuts; stay for the thrill of the creative process at work!
Our Production schedule is as follows:
Fri., Feb. 13, 10 AM - LIghting Design and Walk-Through
Fri., Feb 20 - 1 PM - Ep. 1 Production
Friday, March 13th, 1pm - Ep. 2 Production
Friday, April 17, 1pm - Ep. 3 Production
Friday, May 8, 1pm - Ep. 4 Production
Friday, May 8, 7pm - Bender of the Century
Right now we especially need people who can commit to the lighting design and walk-through next Friday, Feb. 13th at 10 AM., and for the first production the following Friday.
